When AI becomes part of the team, it changes more than the way we work
What actually changes when AI systems become part of everyday work? This was the central question of the well-attended webinar When AI Becomes Part of the Team, hosted by ItsTime, where I had the pleasure of speaking together with E K & thegood lab colleague Caspar-Fridolin Lorenz. The lively discussion during the session – and the conversations that continued afterwards, including on LinkedIn – showed just how relevant this topic has become for many organisations.Rather than focusing on individual tools, we explored how AI systems reshape organisations. They influence communication, change the premises on which decisions are made and shift the competencies organisations increasingly rely on,often long before processes or governance structures are adapted. To me, this is where the more interesting question begins: What role should AI systems play within an organisation? Answering that question is not primarily about technology. It is about consciously shaping communication, decision-making and responsibility, and that is where meaningful AI Governance begins.
